Hi folks. What do you think about a website for family members to share stories and pictures? Instead of documents and pictures here and there in a desk drawer, a box in the closet, or lost in the invisible hole in the wall, why not archive and share information here?
If you would like to participate please register through the Login Form. You must create a unique user name, and have a valid email address. Here is what will happen when you register:
- I will automatically receive an email telling me that you registered
- You will receive an email with a link that you must click on to activate your membership
If you would like to submit content; that's stories and pictures, send me an email letting me know. I will change you from a registered user to an author. That means you will be able to submit content. You may also submit events for the calendar. Or if you are not up to putting it on the website yourself, simply email your stuff to me and I will do the rest for you.
After you have registered, log in to the website. If you have been given author rights you will see some additional menu choices. To submit an event click on the appropriate submit family item button. You will see a form with buttons and icons similar to a word processing program. You can just type text, or you can add pictures (images).
If you want to add images and are not sure how to do it, you can send them to me, tell me which story they go with and I will add them for you. I would like this site to be interesting and useful for everyone. Budding webophiles are encouraged to participate.

The image upload button looks like this |
Click the Apply button to save your changes and keep working on a story. Click Save to save and exit the story. Click the red 'X' to close your story when you are done (make sure you have saved any changes since you last clicked Save).
At the bottom of the Upcoming Events you will see two links. One says View Full Calendar, and the othe says Add New Event. Click on View Full Calendar and you will see some test events I added. Notice that they are color-coded by family. That way you can look for only the events that matter to you.
Two of the standard features of this site are:
These two sections show the most recently published items, and the most popular items. Popular items are based on how many times they are clicked on.
Note: If you have trouble with what you are trying to do please email me, so I can investigate your issue. Give me as much information as you can about the problem you are having.
Thanks and I hope to be hearing from you.
