Parker Reunion 2009

The Parker reunion is almost upon us. Many of us have not seen each other in years, so I hope everyone that lives far away will make a special effort to come and get reacquainted with your aunts, uncles, cousins, and other assorted relatives and friends.

The main event will be a picnic-style afternoon at Krull Park in Olcott, New York, across from lovely Lake Ontario. Olcott is a small fishing village on Lake Ontario, with a harbor that.  In recent years the town has undergone some redevelopment and there are some cute shops and restaurants on the waterfront. Parker Reunion Specifics

When

• July 25, 2009
• Please plan to arrive by 12 noon

Where

• Krull Park, Olcott, NY, 14126, Route 18, South side Pavillion # 8

The following items will be provided:

• Table service
• Meat
• Potato, macaroni, and bean salads
• Baked beans
• Rolls
• Condiments

What you should bring:

• You and your family
• Enthusiasm and stories to tell
• Cameras
• Pictures to share
• Lawn chairs
• Beverages
• A dish to pass - suggestions are desserts, veggies, watermelon, chips and dip, etc

Accomodations

We have rented a house for some of you to stay, on a first come first served basis. The house is on a free-will contribution basis. The house holds 20 and there is room for approximately 13 more overnight guests. There are seven bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors with plenty of bathrooms. There is a full kitchen, dining room, large meeting room on beautiful grounds. Sorry NO alcohol or drugs of any kind permitted ... and no smoking on the grounds or in the house. The house is available Friday night July 24th to Monday morning July 27th. We have to be out by 11:00 AM.

If you are planning to stay overnight or a few days, it is imperative that you contact Howard so he can reserve you a bedroom. Uncle John and his family are planning to stay there, and some activities may take place there, including some rolicking card games and perhaps other things that you will want to join in on.

Please notify all your extended family and urge them to come. We have a lot of activities lined up, and we guarantee it will be great fun!
